The purpose of this Data Protection Policy is to inform you of how TEAMUP EVENT PTE LTD manages Personal Data in accordance with the Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). 1. The Data We Collect About You

We may collect the following type of information: 

  • Contact Detail: Name, email address, phone number. 
  • Corporate Detail: Company name, job title.
  • Event Detail: Event type, preferences, attendee details (including the VIPs, VVIPs), and event objectives.
  • Financial Information: Billing address, invoicing details (Note: We do not store credit card information)
  •  Media Data: Photos and videos during the events, and may be posted on our social media, and included in blog posts on our website. 
  • Company logo: For our client portfolio purpose, and to display the logo on our website.
 

2. How is your data collected

Generally, we collect Personal Data from and about you in the following ways:

  • When you submit a contact form or make an inquiry via our website, social medias, phone calls, and messages (including social media direct messages, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.).
  • When you purchase ticket to one of our events or concerts, and any event or concert we are assigned as a co-promoter. We will in this circumstances receive your personal information from the ticketing agents that we used to sell tickets for the events or concerts.
  • When you subscribe to a newsletter, you acknowledge and agree to receive future upcoming events, marketing, and any promotional updates from us.
  • When you directly communicate with us via phone calls, messages, emails, and in person to any of our company representatives.  
  • When you attend or participated in any our event that your personal information is required. 
  • When you respond to, or engage with our marketing campaigns, social media posts, or submitted a survey. 
  • When third-party vendors or suppliers (e.g., photographers, venues, caterer, logistic) provide information related to event execution, which allows us to personalize our service to you.
  • When you submit an application to us as a candidate for employment opportunity.
 
 

3. How we use personal data

Generally, we use and disclose your personal information/data in the following circumstances: 

  • Where the future interaction, communication, & collaboration we are about to enter into or have entered into with you. (Prior, during, post-events, and after sales customer service and supports)
  • Where we need to comply with legal or regulatory obligation.
  • To process quotations, contracts, invoices, and payments. 
  • Hosting, storing, backing up your personal data, which maybe on a third party server or data clouds.
  • Sending event related information, newsletter, marketing and promotional updates, and for customer service purposes.

We DO NOT sell your personal data. However, we may share it with: 

  • Teamup Event PTE LTD in-house employees to provide services, address your questions, and requests in relation to your interaction with Teamup Event. 
  • Authorized third parties such as vendors, suppliers, contractor, logistic service provider, and other related parties that are involved in the event execution. (The shared personal data in this case will be in accordance with their (the authorized third-parties) privacy protection policy.)
  • Government agencies, legal authorities or regulators, when required by law.
  • IT and software service providers for system maintenance and communication support.
 
All third parties are contractually bound to keep your data secure and confidential, and TEAMUP EVENT will take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized disclosure. 
 

5. Use of Cookie

A “cookie” is a text file that is placed in your devices when you use them to browse a website. A “cookie” cannot be use to run programs, delivery virus, and or malware software to your devices. 

We employ “cookie” in order to personalize your online experience:

  • To conduct market research which helps improve and customize our product and services in the future.
